They had old steel windows but due to a heritage listing were not able to remove these. As APS employ only highly skilled and trained installers, we were able to work around the regulation and create a triple glazed solution within their rooms covering their existing windows. Our installers created a stable and secure timber box where we then installed our highly energy and sound efficient window, finally finishing off with UPVC trims matching the installed windows.

There wouldn’t be a more difficult task than installing doubling glazing on the third floor of an apartment in a heritage listed building in Flinders Lane, in the middle of Melbourne’s CBD. But we applaud APS for pulling if off with absolute aplomb! Simon’s quote was a fair price and made saying yes to proceed easy. While Shane and Jackson were conscientious installers who took enormous personal pride in delivering a first class job! We were most impressed with their workmanship and attention to detail. Up and down three flights of stairs carrying their equipment didn’t deter them at all. Nothing was a problem for them. Thanks guys, a great result.
