Michael and Dot recently completed their second installation with APS Double Glazing using Cumberlink uPVC systems. In this in-depth testimonial, they share their experience — from replacing old timber windows to enjoying improved warmth, noise reduction, security, and energy efficiency throughout their home.
“Zero traffic noise, zero drafts — it’s like living in a completely different house. We genuinely had to start setting alarms because the silence is that complete.”
“The difference in noise reduction is massive. Our kids sleep right through tram bells and roadworks now. We wish we’d done this years ago.”
“Our home is finally warm in winter and cool in summer. The condensation issues are gone for good — couldn’t be happier with the result.”
“No pushy sales, clear quote, airtight install. APS took care of everything and delivered exactly what they promised. Worth every cent.”
We had the best experience from the moment the salesperson came. The installers were punctual, hardworking, solved problems easily, cleaned everything, and were an absolute delight. The windows look spectacular, retain heat immediately, and we can no longer hear traffic from the busy road behind our house.
APS delivered a great result and we are very happy with the outcome. The whole team was professional, and the installation team led by Sam were highly skilled and extremely hard working.
APS has been easy, straightforward, and incredibly helpful. They were always available, showed up on time, communicated clearly, and even stepped in to help when another company delayed our bathroom window. Top quality windows that look stunning.
The noise reduction is honestly unbelievable — around 90–95%. Our bedroom is now incredibly quiet, like a soundproofed room. The insulation benefits are just as impressive. APS manufacture locally, and the entire team was friendly, professional, and outstanding.
An amazing professional company in every area. The admin team, sales, and installers were friendly, thorough, respectful, and clean. The windows made an immediate difference in comfort and temperature. Exceptional value and honesty.
The new windows have transformed our home — reduced noise, improved appearance, and total confidence in the decision. The installers were punctual, considerate, explained everything clearly, and left the house spotless.
Five stars from the first phone call, showroom visit, through to installation. Reece and Ethan were outstanding. Professional work, clean finish, and we couldn’t be happier with our new windows.
Six weeks on and through a cold spell, we’re very happy with the windows and door. Installation was smooth, communication excellent, and workmanship high quality.
From quoting to office communication to installation, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The installers were polite, explained the process, and cleaned up perfectly. Highly recommended.
“Second time we have asked APS to install double glazed windows and doors at our home. Couldn’t be happier with the quality of the product. Reece, Hudson and Leon were very professional and did a great job. They even helped with some questions I had about the previous install. They left our home spotless and with a fabulous new view.”
“APS did a superb job in every respect. The office staff were pleasant and responsive, and Sam and Jamie installed windows in our 50yo flat very efficiently and with minimal mess.”
“Outstanding service! Our experience with APS Double Glazing has been fantastic. Staff and installers are incredibly friendly, polite and professional. Communication was excellent throughout the process, every question we had was answered. The installation team did an amazing job, they were efficient, tidy and took pride in their work. Our new windows look fantastic and have made such a difference to our home. Quality is second to none. It’s rare to find a combination of a great product and outstanding service. Highly recommend APS Double Glazing to anyone looking for a quality product and a truly professional team. Big THANK YOU to Everyone at APS Double Glazing.”
“From the first chat to the installation, APS delivered. Said what they would do, how they’d do it and never skipped a beat. Thanks for your time and tidyness … No hesitation to recommend to anyone!”
“A professional team led by Richie and Sam removed existing windows and front door and replaced these with appropriate double glazed units in a very professional and courteous manner. Two of the units required additional resources to lift into place – as one unit weighed around 300kgs. Sam’s attention to detail with the window surrounds carpentry was exceptional. Floor coverings were utilised so as to minimise any damage to carpets with the inclement weather outside. Clean up internally and externally was done automatically by the team. These windows complement the windows installed a couple of years ago. The new, very clean windows really lift the house, providing much more light. Very satisfied with not only the installation, but also with all personnel from APS that we dealt with from initial purchase to installation.”
